Hiring Construction Laborer/Handyman

1st shift 7:30-4pm (M-F)

$17-18hr

Job Description

Perform repairs to mobile office trailers including framing and finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and all other facets of modular building repair. Perform modifications as requested by customers. Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates at stated quality levels. Perform service-related tasks in the yard as requested. Complete appropriate paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls. Perform HVAC system checks and maintenance per company guidelines. May be assigned duties at field locations as business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs on mobile office trailers, including carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, and painting.
• Modify trailers as per customer requests.
• Ensure trailers meet quality standards and are ready for delivery.
• Perform service tasks and maintain yard orderliness.
• Complete necessary paperwork for logistical processes.
• Execute HVAC system checks and maintenance.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of construction experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to read general floor plans

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Duncan, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
