Contract description

• MRI Configuration Optimization:
  • ssess and redesign MRI configurations, including entity structures and fund setups, to enhance reporting capabilities and eliminate manual workarounds through standardization and automation.
  • Accounting Process Improvement: Streamline monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes within MRI, ensuring compliance with GAAP while enhancing efficiency and transparency in financial reporting.
  • Cost Allocation Design: Develop scalable cost allocation models for campus-style assets, embedding allocation logic within MRI to ensure repeatability and auditability.
  • Cross-Border and FX Configuration: Optimize MRI setups for international entities, including multi-currency functionality and alignment of close calendars to support consolidated reporting.
  • Systems Integration and Data Quality: Evaluate integrations between MRI and other systems, diagnose data inconsistencies, and collaborate with technology teams to ensure stable and validated data flows for improved reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• Extensive Experience: Over 10 years of experience in institutional real estate accounting environments.
• MRI Expertise: Hands-on experience in configuring and optimizing MRI Property and Fund Accounting systems.
• Successful Reconfiguration: Proven track record in MRI reconfiguration, Chart of Accounts redesign, and optimizing reporting hierarchies.
• Portfolio Management: Experience managing campus-style or multi-building real estate portfolios, including cross-border entities.
• Advisory Skills: Strong ability to work in a project-based advisory role with senior stakeholders, focusing on property-level and fund-level accounting processes.
