We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator with hands-on expertise supporting and migrating enterprise ERP systems. This role will lead the end-to-end migration of our legacy ERP platform into Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and optimized for ongoing business growth. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in system setup, configuration, administration, data migration, integrations, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across the full Microsoft 365 and Dynamics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Migration Leadership

  • Lead the full lifecycle of an ERP migration to Dynamics 365, including planning, architecture, data mapping, cleansing, and cutover support.
  • Evaluate legacy system structures and design scalable migration paths.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop migration documentation, testing scripts, and validation procedures.
  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and governance throughout migration phases.
System Setup, Configuration & Administration
  • Configure, administer, and maintain Dynamics 365 modules (Finance & Operations, Business Central, Sales, Customer Service, or others based on business needs).
  • Manage environments, instances, licensing, user roles, permissions, and security groups.
  • Configure workflows, business rules, forms, dashboards, reports, and custom entities.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability to support future growth.
Technical Integration & Scalability
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and internal or third-party systems using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and APIs.
  • Ensure the ERP architecture is scalable, modular, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
  • Monitor system usage and proactively recommend enhancements or structural improvements.
Troubleshooting, Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Dynamics 365 issues, including performance bottlenecks, configuration errors, access problems, and workflow failures.
  • Troubleshoot system incidents, root-cause issues, and integration failures.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Train users, build job aids, and support adoption.
Governance, Security & Compliance
  • Manage role-based access controls (RBAC), data policies, and audit logs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct system health checks, patching, updates, and environment refreshes.
Qualifications:

Required
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (F&O, Business Central, CE, or related modules).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Power Platform.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting an ERP migration or major system implementation.
  • Experience with data migration techniques, ETL processes, and integration frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with the ability to diagnose complex system issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and translate requirements into solutions.
Preferred
  • Microsoft certifications (MB-300, MB-500, PL-200, PL-400, AZ-900).
  • Experience with SQL queries, data modeling, and reporting tools.
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, finance, or professional services environments.
  • Experience with DevOps processes for deployment, testing, and release management.
