Job Description:
Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Full Stack Software Engineer to add to their growing team located in Indianapolis. Our client is seeking an individual who can develop and maintain both front-end and back-end applications, and leverage AWS services for deploying and scaling solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, React , Java with experience with AWS Glue for ETL processes, Lambdas, and Cloud Watch.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain full-stack: both front -end and back-end applications and APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
  • Configure and monitor AWS CloudWatch for application performance and operational health.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CLI, improving delivery speed and reliability.
  • Build unit test suites for Python-based Glue jobs, overcoming debugging challenges inherent to distributed execution environments.
  • Collaborate with a global team of engineers, multiple project managers, and stakeholders to deliver a secure, scalable AWS cloud solution for enterprise account management.
  • Utilize Python, Java, and React in developing components and services within the cloud ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration and user experience
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a full-stack Developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development
  • Strong knowledge of Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or Fast API
  • Experience with React minimum 4 years
  • Java Development Experience minimum 4 years
  • Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as:
    • Lambda for serverless function development
    • RDS (PostgreSQL)or DynamoDB for database management
    • S3for storage
    • API Gateway for exposing APIs
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs design and development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
Desired Skills
  • Strong understanding of database optimization, indexing, and query performance tuning
  • Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Strong understanding of security best practices for both databases and AWS environments
  • Design and implement AWS Lambda functions as part of a large-scale serverless architecture for internal account management.
  • Develop and maintain AWS Glue jobs for ETL processes, ensuring efficient data transformation and integration.
  • Angular, JavaScript technologies like Nest, Next and Node.JS
  • Version control experience using Git
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with message queues like Amazon SQS or RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of GraphQL APIs
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack)
