1 st shift flexible material handler

OpSource has partnered with a Chemical Manufacturing company located near Greenville, SC (in Taylors)

Pay for the position:

• $19/hour (pay will increase to $20 once hired on)

Shifts for the position:

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (OT as needed), but needs to be flexible on both start and end times as needed.

Job requirements for the position may include:

• Complying with rules of safety and housekeeping.
• Receiving incoming material and shipping customer orders in accordance with appropriate SOP's.
• Storing incoming materials that have been approved for use in their proper areas in a neat, orderly and safe manner in the receiving warehouse. Repositioning inventory to allow for FIFO.
• Ensuring that all materials in the warehouses are clearly marked describing fitness for use or reason for quarantine. Ensuring isolation of quarantine material.
• Scheduling Pick-up of customer orders.
• Ensuring that all materials in the warehouses are clearly marked describing fitness for use or reason for quarantine.
• Loading incoming and outgoing tankers.
• Weighing incoming and outgoing tankers - Maintaining tanker records.
• Pulling incoming samples as required.
• Pulling and staging raw materials for batch production.

Qualifications for the position:

• Can safely operate a forklift.
• Capable and confident moving drums, totes, pallets in a tight workspace.
• Has experience loading and unloading bulk tankers.
• Has the ability to read, understand and follow instructions in our ISO certified chemical facility.
• Can enter data into our computer systems.
• Detail oriented.
