This role serves as the liaison between transport management, transport staff, and hospital departments. Uses EPIC and hospital protocols to prioritize and assign transport requests./ppMinimum Requirements:/pulliHigh School Graduate/liliTwo to three (2-3) years experience in a similar dispatching position OR 1 year experience in Central Patient Transport/liliCPR Certification (on the job training and certification)/li/ulpPreferred Requirements:/pulliCollege courses or Associates Degree in Healthcare or Business/li/ulpCore Job Responsibilities:/pulliReceive, prioritize and assign patient transport requests through EPIC./liliWorks collaboratively with the Nursing, Bed Board, Facilities, and Ancillary departments to ensure timely and effective patient movement within the organization./liliStrong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer relations skills./liliTrack transport assignments in real-time, adjusting schedules and resources to meet changing demands and urgent requests./liliServe as the primary point of contact for nursing units and transport staff./liliUtilize EPIC to log requests, monitor performance metrics, and maintain accurate records./liliAddress delays, equipment issues, or staffing challenges to minimize service disruptions./liliAssist in compiling productivity reports and performance data for Management review./liliComplete transport trips as needed./liliAssist with equipment management and movement as needed./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ul/div
