Job Skills / Requirements

As a Grounds Maintenance Specialist, your role will involve maintaining the grounds equipment (such as mowers and UTVs) at client sites. This position includes a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the effective operation of our grounds services:

• Oversee and perform equipment maintenance operations.
• Assist the grounds manager in monitoring the budget for labor hours and material purchases.
• Conduct regular inspections of the grounds.
• Plan and manage a preventive maintenance program for equipment.
• Operate motor vehicles and lift/move equipment, materials, and tools while adhering to safety regulations.
• Maintain daily logs of issues and progress throughout the year.
• Ensure all training and safety protocols are followed according to company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to follow written or verbal instructions.
• A valid state driver's license.

Physical Demands

This job requires physical stamina, including lifting up to 90 pounds, with regular lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Job duties may require standing, walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and other physical activities.
