Position Summary We are seeking an experienced tax preparer to prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and trust tax returns during the upcoming tax season. This role can be part-time or full-time and is well suited for someone seeking flexibility. The position is expected to run from January through April, with the possibility of continuing beyond tax season for the right candidate. This role requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. While the primary focus is tax return review, candidates available full-time may also assist with additional tax preparation and related work depending on experience and firm needs. Requirements 5+ years of experience preparing tax returns Experience with UltraTax Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standard accounting processes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Communicate clearly within the department and work well with a team Be up to date on current tax code, both federal and South Carolina Job Responsibilities and Tasks Review individual income tax returns Review partnership, S corporation, and C corporation tax returns Review trust and fiduciary tax returns Collaborate with preparers and firm staff to resolve issues and questions as needed Personal Characteristics Professional in attitude and appearance Trustworthy Detail-oriented and deadline-driven Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Efficient, organized, and reliable Able to work well and contribute positively in a team environment Compensation is based on experience.
