The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting key components such as tube replacements, headers, waterwalls, superheaters, reheaters, economizers, and more while working in a dynamic environment focused on quality and innovation. Responsibilities
  • Perform welding tasks on boiler pressure parts and auxiliary components using various welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all welding operations.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks on welds to ensure proper adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving welding-related issues that may arise during the fabrication process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
  • Proven experience in welding, particularly with steel and other metals used in boiler construction.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes and standards related to welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
