Adelphi is seeking a Resource Teacher to provide pullout special education services for students in grades K5 at an Elementary school in Greer, South Carolina. This position is ideal for a dedicated, certified educator committed to supporting students with learning disabilities or multi-categorical needs through targeted, individualized instruction in a small group setting.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• Valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain)

• Special Education endorsement/certification for Learning Disabilities (LD) or Multi-categorical (multi-categorical preferred; LD acceptable)

• Completion of a teacher preparation program with student teaching

• Background check and fingerprinting clearance

• Provide targeted pullout instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

• Adapt and deliver instruction using evidence-based strategies to meet diverse learning needs

• Assess student progress regularly and update IEPs accordingly

• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and service delivery

• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices

• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning

• Utilize technology to support learning and communication

• Ensure compliance with IDEA and South Carolina state standards

• Promote a respectful, supportive, and academically challenging environment

• Any other duties as assigned
