Tool Room Attendant

You will be a Tool Room Attendant located at our Lockheed Martin Greenville, South Carolina facility. Our team is responsible for providing specialized tooling and support equipment. As the Tool Room Attendant, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing hand tools, machine tools, and testing equipment by utilizing AMCS, a computer-based program, to manage the assets in the tool room. The Tool Room Attendant will also be responsible for the below listed secondary duties:

• Perform annual inspections and inventories of the tools and test equipment assigned to the tool room.
• Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Submit portable tool request (PTR) and tool repair tickets (TRT) at the technician's request.
• Retrieve and deliver calibrated items to their assigned location either manually or using a hand truck.
• May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with tool and/or inventory control.
• Record-keeping skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with common hand tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
• High School Diploma / GED.

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience as a tool room attendant.
• Strong people skills and good attention to detail.
• Ability to work alone from written procedures & industry standards.
• Experience in an aircraft maintenance and modification environment.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Sound critical thinking skills.

• Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
• Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
• Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
