Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an HSE Performance & Analytics Manager
The HSE Systems Performance & Analytics Manager is a strategic leader responsible for the design, governance, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) data systems, performance analytics, reporting frameworks, digital platforms, and safety management system (SMS).
This role ensures the integrity, reliability, and accessibility of HSE data and systems across the organization, enabling leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions that shape and improve organizational behavior, risk management, and operational excellence.
This position plays a vital role in advancing HSE digital transformation-leveraging enterprise platforms, analytics technologies, and predictive modeling to uncover hidden risks, strengthen culture, and support Morgan Corp's Social Contract.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the tools, datasets, and processes for collecting, validating, analyzing, and presenting HSE performance data (partnering with Information Technology).
- Retain oversight of all HSE technologies and digital platforms (e.g., Intelex, HCSS, SharePoint, DoneSafe, etc.), ensuring proper use, smooth integration, and maximum value extraction.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and correctness of HSE data used across the organization.
- Monitor high-risk activities (e.g., heavy equipment operations, structural demo, industrial, drilling & blasting, trenching, and environmental exposure) and analyze performance trends to recommend preventive strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting definitions, data standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and analytics in Power BI or equivalent tools to support the HSE function and business divisions.
- Coordinate safety planning from award through demobilization, including Pre-Mob checklists, crew readiness, safety meetings, and permitting requirements (e.g., Dust Control, SWPPP, Noise, Haul Routes).
- Monitor post-incident reviews and assist in leading analyses in coordination with field leadership. Using learning teams, High Energy Controls Assessments (HECA), and Safety Classification & Learning (SCL) Model.
- Ensure timely submission and review of incident reports, check-ins, serious events, agency tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Correlate HSE data with wider business KPIs to detect patterns and support predictive modeling for initiative-taking risk management.
- Support corporate reporting activities through periodic extraction, transformation, and analysis of HSE system data.
- Present clear, actionable insights to leadership teams to influence decision-making and strategic prioritization.
- Develop & deliver engaging, sustainable training materials on data and safety management systems (partnering with Talent & Development). Items could include project orientation decks, site-specific safety plans, and subcontractor onboarding documents.
- Ensure timely submission and review of incident reports, SSE check-ins, CAT/NOV tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of various HSE programs, procedures, and manuals.
- Guiding teams, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring progress to ensure milestones are being met.
Qualifications:- Ten (10+) years of experience in HSE roles within civil, utility, or industrial construction.
- Considerable experience in HSE, HSE data analytics, or HSE performance management, and HSE programs.
- Degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, Construction Management, Data Analytics, HSE, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HSE enterprise platforms such as Intelex, HCSS, DoneSafe, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
- Operational experience managing digital systems and enterprise platforms.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to create training and capability-building materials. Experience leading safety audits, observations, or job safety analysis (JSAs) on projects and job sites.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills with the ability to support internal end users. Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to design dashboards, build data models, and perform visual analytics.
- Elevated level of computer literacy and comfort with digital tools.
