Job Description:
We are seeking a highlyskilled AI Engineer contractor to join our team on a project basis. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels at building robust data and machine learning infrastructure, operationalizing AI models, and developing intelligent agentic workflows. Support the development and operationalization of AI/ML infrastructure and data pipelines in a collaborative, remote environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines for batch and real-time analytics
• Deploy ML model serving layers and microservices
• Operationalize models for production environments
• Develop AI agents for workflow automation and contextual outputs
• Integrate AI solutions with internal tools and platforms
• Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and error handling
• Write clean, well-documented engineering code
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers across teams

• Must-Haves:
  
  • 4-year undergraduate degree
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel
  • Experience with large data sets and anomaly detection
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently without daily supervision
• Nice-to-Haves:
  
  • Background as an office manager or executive assistant
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Familiarity with building agentic AI workflows
