Senior OneStream Administrator
Fully Remote
4+ month Contract

Our client is seeking a Senior OneStream Administrator with deep expertise in the OneStream EPM platform. This role serves as the technical authority for OneStream environments, leading administration, integrations, Marketplace solutions, and performance optimization across production, test, and development instances. The ideal candidate has a proven track record designing, implementing, and supporting OneStream Marketplace add-ons while partnering closely with Finance and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Administer and monitor production, UAT, and sandbox OneStream environments, including performance tuning, patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and backup and recovery to ensure platform stability and scalability.
• Marketplace Solution Architecture: Design, configure, and support OneStream Marketplace add-ons including Tax, Treasury, HR, Planning, Lease Accounting, and industry-specific solutions by translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and driving user adoption.
• Data Integration and ETL: Build, maintain, and support data integrations using Smart Integration Server, SAP Connector, APIs, and downstream reporting connections to ensure reliable and accurate data movement.
• Security and Governance: Implement and maintain role-based security, segregation of duties, audit trails, and compliance controls aligned with SOX, GDPR, and corporate policies.
• Release Management: Lead planning, testing, and deployment of OneStream releases, hot-fixes, and Marketplace updates while coordinating activities across technical and business teams.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct system health checks, identify performance bottlenecks, and apply tuning strategies related to cube design, calculations, aggregations, and caching.
• Business Partnership: Act as the primary technical liaison for Finance, Controlling, and IT stakeholders, aligning the OneStream technical roadmap with finance transformation initiatives.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer: Coach junior administrators, develop technical documentation and training materials, and promote OneStream best practices across the organization.
• Project Leadership: Own complex OneStream initiatives including scoping, design, scheduling, resource coordination, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging OneStream features, Marketplace solutions, and third-party integrations, recommending enhancements to improve performance, usability, and overall system value.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 7-10+ years of hands-on OneStream administration experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or lead role
• Experience implementing at least three OneStream Marketplace solutions such as Tax, Treasury, HR, Lease Accounting, or industry-specific modules
• Advanced OneStream administration including metadata, dimensional modeling, business rules, cubes, calculations, and Data Management
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills including query optimization and stored procedures
• Proficiency with OneStream integration tools including Smart Integration Connector, SAP Connector, Power BI Connector, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Power BI experience for reporting and analytics
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to finance leadership
• Proven project and stakeholder management experience using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Must be US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• OneStream Certified Administrator
• OneStream Marketplace Solutions certifications
• Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-GAAP consolidations
• Experience with OneStream SensibleAI and OneStream AI Studio
• Prior ERP integration experience with platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Deltek Costpoint, Workday, or similar systems
• Knowledge of audit and compliance standards including SOX and GDPR
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks
• Exposure to cloud-based EPM platforms such as Workday Adaptive Planning or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience leading small teams and managing external implementation partners
