divh2Service Assistant - Greenville, SC/h2pJob Category: Guest Services/ppRequisition Number: SERVI002037/ppPart-Time/ppSpare Time - Greenville/pp822 Congaree Rd/ppGreenville, SC 29607, USA/ph3Job Responsibilities/h3pInteract professionally by using Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.)./ppServe guests utilizing Spare Time Entertainments Steps of Service./ppProvide support to servers and kitchen staff./ppAssist with prepping food./ppCommunicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)./ppDemonstrate ability to review ordered items before leaving the kitchen and efficiently delivers ready items to the accurate location./ppEnsure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)./ppAct as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff./ppInform restaurant staff about guests feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check)./ppAssist the wait staff with table turnover set up and break down./ppRemove soiled dishes and utensils and maintain dish area./ppPolish and rolled silverware./ppEnsure that families with young children receive kids menus and special silverware sets./ppAble to promote knowledge of the locations features and upcoming events./ppDemonstrate knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions and answer guests questions about ingredients./ppMaintain clean equipment and working areas by following the restaurants preventative maintenance programs and in accordance with Local, State, and Federal Health Department Codes./ppKeep products and areas organized and restocked as needed, communicating any inventory shortages to supervisor./ppReport all violations to management./ppOther duties as assigned./ppPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
