Job Title: Banner Database Administrator
Location: Remote

Must-Haves:

• Advanced expertise in Ellucian Solution Manager (ESM), with a proven track record of independently managing and applying complex Banner upgrades and patches
• Deep Linux system administration experience, particularly in enterprise or higher ed environments (e.g., RHEL), including scripting, performance tuning, and automation
• Proficiency in Oracle backup/recovery, tuning, and patching, and experience managing Oracle databases in a Banner ERP environment
• Experience with installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle databases and Banner modules
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to learn and work independently.

• Experience with cloud-hosted environments (e.g., AWS, Ellucian SaaS)
• Experience with Ellucian tools such as Job Submission, Workflow, or AppNav
• Understanding of Banner schema and data structures
