Responsibilities:

• Facilitate network engineering services to develop, evolve a structure in response to new or enhanced business and technical requirements
• Drive Major projects include the upgrade of the customer's Data Center network from a 1Gigabyte to a 10 Gigabyte infrastructure, the development and implementation of a Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) Center, and the implementation of enhanced network access controls with a design based on Cisco TrustSec technology using Source Group Tag (SGT), Identity Service Engine (ISE), and the DNA Center for policy creation, delivery, and enforcement.
• Serve as the technical lead on a team of customer's engineers and/or technicians involved in major network infrastructure projects
• Demonstrate knowledge on different types of technical documents: network diagrams, device configurations, change and configuration management documents, implementation plans, release readiness checklists and sequencing plans.
• Work on technical design documentation, should have developed to a level of detail and specificity required to support solution deployment - e.g., a design document that describes how SGT would be used throughout the network, including tagging points, enforcement points, and a matrix of tags to user groups and resources.
• Implement solutions based on recommendations from the network impact assessment described in Network Architecture task.
• Activate new or upgraded circuits and deactivate circuits to be disconnected, take actions to have circuits operational within 72 hours of vendor turn over
• Manage all internal and external circuits such as enterprise WAN, Internet connections, connections to cloud service providers (CSPs) and other partners.
• Maintain an inventory of all circuits by customer's office location, street address, type of circuit, send/receive bandwidth, and monthly recurring costs.

• Possess Seven (7) years of experience as a senior network engineer leading the design, development, and implementation of complex network solutions, leading large-scale projects involving stakeholders.
• Knowledge to design and document solutions based on the recommendations on assessment, include a design document, an implementation plan and schedule, any configuration baseline, device configurations, test plan(s), and change management documents.
• Possess experience working with WAN/LAN systems, networking technologies and protocols, and network and security principles.
• Relevant knowledge on protocols includes BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and SNMP.
• Relevant network and security principles include VLAN, VRF, NAC, network virtualization, DMZ, software-defined networking, and defense in depth on-prem and in the cloud. Experience evaluating, analyzing, and solving networking problems.

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Cisco Certified Security Professional, or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
