Job Overview
The Material Handler II performs physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role supports inventory accuracy, production flow, and shipping readiness while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Job Specifications

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment activities
  • Check goods received and goods for distribution against purchase orders or invoices
  • Maintain records of goods received, shipped, and stored
  • Reject unsatisfactory or damaged items
  • Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment
  • Post weights and shipping charges
  • Lift heavy items and operate a forklift as required
  • Review customer orders and accurately stock, examine, and distribute materials
  • Support the production team by pulling paper for staging
  • Empty trash bins into the baler and oversee the recycling program
  • Prepare and maintain shipping and inventory documentation
Skills and Experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to standards
  • Ability to self-supervise
  • Highly organized
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
