Description:

About Inroads:

Inroads applies data, analytics, technology, research, and content development to co-create services and programs that are personalized, relevant, and engaging for the communities who rely on them. Our deep understanding of digital services, policy implementation, and ways communities consume information allows us to seamlessly integrate with organizations and public sector teams to revolutionize the ways they deliver complex services at scale.

About the role:

This position will play an instrumental role in a federal healthcare program which supports multiple teams building user-facing features on web and mobile platforms. This role will partner closely with product delivery leads and stakeholders, implement best practices for data maintenance and analysis, and work closely with our client stakeholders to enhance how beneficiaries access healthcare resources. You will work with a team of product experts, researchers, and engineers to drive high-impact results for a web and mobile product used by millions of Americans annually. You will tackle hands-on analytics and propose thoughtful new ideas on our deliverables that advance program objectives and inform client decision-making.

In this position you will:

  • Support analytics components of a federal healthcare digital service.
  • Use tools such as DataDog, PowerBI, and Google Analytics - and are expected to have a strong foundational background in these tools.
  • Work with digital services delivery teams and client stakeholders to execute on data integration and analysis plans.
  • Critically evaluate product related processes, tools, and deliverables, as well as offer informed opinions on solutions that improve the quality of the team's work.
  • Conduct data analysis from disparate data sources to distill human-centered operations and processes into meaningful insights, and investigate data discrepancies to identify patterns and find solutions.
  • Devise data analysis and data management strategies to create systematic methods of measuring performance across complex systems and technical implementations.
  • Communicate findings that address root problems using a variety of formats, such as written reports, presentations, dashboards, and compelling visualizations to allow clients to easily understand challenges and take a clear action.
What we are seeking:
  • Experience implementing DataDog, Power BI, and Google Analytics in production and at scale for a digital service.
  • 5+ years of experience working with structured/unstructured data in an analytics consulting environment.
  • An undergraduate degree or higher in a quantitative field.
  • Strong ability to lead workstreams and navigate ambiguous requirements to support delivery both independently and as a leader on a team.
  • Experience going from insight to impact: using the results of your analysis to tell an informative and engaging story through visualization, presentation, and writing.
  • Expert knowledge of how to manipulate data using SQL or other statistical programming languages.
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis and techniques such as logistic regression and significance testing.
  • Experience supporting a data operations program for a large scale client, including tasks such as requirements gathering, establishing or managing data models, and producing ad hoc analytical reports.
  • Experience working in an Agile work environment and a grasp of version control (i.e. git).
  • Passion in applying your skills to our social mission to problem-solve and collaborate within a cross-functional, client-facing team environment.
  • The ability to successfully attain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation that our government clients require; this includes a requirement that the individual has U.S. Citizenship or U.S. residency for three of the past five years (36 of the past 60 months). Resumes should specify residency information for the past 5 years.
Additional experience to stand out:
  • Recent experience working with a U.S. federal client is a strong plus.
