Job Title: Technical Product Manager - Data & Analytics
Location: Remote

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Product Manager (15+ years) with deep expertise in SAP BW HANA, Data & Analytics in Retail Sector. The role will focus on report rationalization, analytics modernization, and data platform transitions, working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong dependency management, and proven ability to drive complex data initiatives that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for retail-focused data & analytics initiatives.
• Lead report rationalization efforts, consolidating redundant reports and aligning KPIs to a single source of truth.
• Partner with business and engineering teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical deliverables, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across large cross-functional programs.
• Ensure adoption of new reporting/analytics solutions across business functions.
• Provide clear, executive-level communication and reporting on progress and risks.

• 15+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in SAP BW HANA and enterprise data & analytics platforms.
• Deep understanding of Supply chain domain analytics and reporting needs.
• Proven success driving report rationalization or similar large-scale data/reporting optimization programs.
• Experience in data platform modernization and migration initiatives (e.g., legacy decommissioning and cloud transition).
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and executive alignment skills.
• Strong skills in dependency management, prioritization, and conflict resolution.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.

• Analytics Tools: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SAP BO, and their integration with BW/HANA.
• Cloud & Modernization: Exposure to cloud data ecosystems (esp. Google Cloud - BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Looker Studio) and large-scale data platform transitions.

• SAP BW on HANA: Data modeling , data flows, and lifecycle management.
• Data Integration: Extraction from SAP ECC/S4 and external sources; deployment/transport knowledge.
• Governance & Security: Metadata management, data governance, compliance, and access controls.
• Agile Tooling: JIRA, Smartsheet, EazyBI.
• Working knowledge of SQL, scripting (Python, Shell, ABAP basics), and modern data architectures (data lakes, ELT/ETL, real-time streaming).
