Summary
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with deep expertise in regulatory compliance systems and orchestration. This role goes beyond application development-you will architect and orchestrate end-to-end solutions that integrate data sources, verification workflows, and AI-driven decisioning to strengthen fraud prevention and compliance outcomes (AML, KYC, identity, age verification). You'll lead technical design, mentor developers, and partner closely with compliance and product stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and auditable systems in Azure.

What You'll Do

  • rchitect and orchestrate compliance workflows integrating AML, KYC, identity, and age verification services into scalable, resilient systems.
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of applications using .NET/.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Build orchestration layers to coordinate multiple verification services and third-party APIs; design robust retry, idempotency, and error-handling patterns.
  • Create reporting and monitoring systems for compliance metrics, fraud detection outcomes, and regulatory KPIs; ensure strong observability and auditability.
  • Guide integration of AI/ML-powered features to automate decisioning and detect fraud/risk patterns, with attention to explainability and bias mitigation.
  • Ensure secure, performant, and compliant build/release pipelines using Azure DevOps (CI/CD), with automated testing and policy gates.
  • Mentor mid-level developers, define coding standards, conduct design/code reviews, and champion best practices.
  • Collaborate with compliance experts, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical architecture and roadmap.
  • Monitor regulatory changes (AML, KYC, identity, gaming, age verification, anti-fraud) and help adapt systems, controls, and data models accordingly.
  • Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, and production troubleshooting across services, databases, and integrations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's a plus).
  • 7+ years of professional development with .NET Framework/Core, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Strong experience designing and implementing orchestration workflows across distributed systems (APIs, microservices, eventing/queues).
  • Proven ability to translate regulatory compliance requirements (AML, KYC, identity verification, fraud prevention, age verification) into scalable technical solutions.
  • Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js, Blazor) and RESTful API development/integration.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, App Insights) and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding, authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OIDC), encryption, secrets management, audit logging, and data protection.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of leading cross-functional technical discussions and mentoring engineers.
Nice to Have
  • zure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with orchestration frameworks and workflow engines (Azure Durable Functions, Logic Apps, Camunda, Temporal, NServiceBus, MassTransit).
  • Background in regtech, fintech, gaming, or other compliance-driven industries.
  • Exposure to classic ASP, Java, XML, CSS, and JavaScript for legacy systems support.
  • Knowledge of policy-as-code, infrastructure as code (Bicep/ARM/Terraform), and observability (OpenTelemetry, dashboards, alerting).
