Bankruptcy Associate Attorney (Bar Required: Georgia)

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to manage a variety of bankruptcy cases, from initial filings to court appearances. You'll work closely with clients and internal legal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant case handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and approve bankruptcy pleadings.
  • Handle all stages of bankruptcy matters, including:
    • Proofs of Claim
    • Motions for Relief
    • Objections and Responses
    • Payment Change Notices
    • Settlements and Adversary Proceedings
  • Represent clients in mediations, depositions, and hearings (telephonic and in-person).
  • Maintain regular communication and updates with clients.
  • Support special projects and additional legal tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active licensure in good standing with the Georgia State Bars.
  • Experience managing a high-volume bankruptcy caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, client-service mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with adversary proceedings, payment change notices, or mediation.
  • Familiarity with legal case management systems and client portals.
  • vailability to attend in-person court hearings or depositions as needed.
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
