Job Summary:

The Commissioning Providers role is to oversee and manage Commissioning Projects from pre-construction through project close-out. They are accountable for all aspects of assigned projects and project success and may be responsible for multiple projects at one time.

General Duties:

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients via written and verbal communication.
• Develop commissioning scopes, fees, and plans; review design documents and submittals.
• Lead design reviews (OPR, BOD, specs), facilitate workshops, and manage commissioning meetings.
• Perform site visits, observe construction, and document findings.
• Create and execute test scripts (PFC, FPT, IST); witness and manage testing.
• Resolve commissioning issues and produce final reports/manuals.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project planning, invoicing, and financial tracking.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal staff throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct warranty walkthroughs and update documentation accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning and project management experience
• Project Management Certification is preferred but not required
• Professional Engineering License is not required but preferred
• Certification in Building Commissioning is not required but preferred
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety is not required but preferred
• NFPE-70E is not required but preferred

Skills:

• Strong organizational, leadership, and client service abilities.
• Solid engineering knowledge in the built environment.
• Skilled in written/verbal communication and project management.
• Effective in handling sensitive situations and analyzing complex data.
• Familiar with energy codes, LEED Cx, and construction drawings.
• Experience with project financials and Building Automation Systems.
• Field experience preferred.

Location: Remote - US

Travel: 50-75%

The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000+ USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
