Job Description

Maintenance Technician - General Maintenance & Unit Turns

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance across apartment homes and common areas.
• Complete apartment unit turns including basic repairs, painting touch-ups, fixture replacements, and ensuring units are clean, safe, and move-in ready for new residents.
• Maintain overall property cleanliness, including grounds, common areas, and maintenance spaces.
• Respond to and complete work orders independently, documenting all activities using email or digital maintenance systems.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, time, and completed work in accordance with company processes.
• Support small property-level projects as needed, prioritizing efficiency, organization, and quality workmanship.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment with respect for residents, coworkers, and personal spaces.
• Follow established safety standards, policies, and procedures consistently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of general maintenance experience in a residential or multifamily setting.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair tasks.
• Proven ability to complete unit turns efficiently and maintain property cleanliness.
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance requests independently with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable communication via email or digital reporting systems.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and follow established processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and digital maintenance platforms.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening and other applicable checks, as permitted by state law.
