Description:

ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN - First Shift!

Build precision. Power the world. Enjoy a 3-day weekend.

Pelham Road | Greenville, SC
First Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Industry: Industrial Gas Turbine Manufacturing
? Hands-on. High-precision. Zero boredom.

If you're the kind of person who likes putting real things together, using real tools, and knowing your work actually matters - this one's for you.

We're looking for an Assembly Technician to join our production team, which builds industrial gas turbine components. If you've assembled mechanical systems before - cars, trucks, planes, industrial equipment, or anything similar - you'll feel right at home.

?? What You'll Do

  • Assemble complex mechanical components using drawings, parts lists, and procedures
  • Use hand tools like wrenches, torque wrenches, sockets, and more
  • Apply seals, lubricants, and thread sealants during assembly
  • Perform in-process and final testing using air and water flow benches
  • Set up fixtures, tooling, and test equipment
  • Clean and prep parts using compressed air, water, and deburring methods
  • Accurately enter build data and track time/materials in the system
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality to improve processes and solve problems
Translation: you'll build, test, troubleshoot, and make things better - not just tighten bolts.

What We're Looking For
  • 6 months-3+ years in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment
  • Comfortable reading drawings, routers, and work instructions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
  • Someone who values quality, safety, and teamwork
Gas turbine, aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial assembly experience is a big plus - but not required.

Why This Job Is a Good One
  • 4-day workweek (yes, really)
  • Clean, organized, temperature-controlled facility
  • Work that requires skill - not just repetition
  • Strong support from Engineering, Quality, and Leadership
  • Your work directly impacts performance, safety, and customer satisfaction
Ready to Apply?

If you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical problems, and being part of building something that makes an impact in the world , we want to hear from you.
