Job Description:

This position performs all tasks associated with the production of product from material staging, operation of equipment, in-process testing, and packaging. This position utilizes both manual and automated systems along with analytical results to monitor and adjust the process, as needed, to produce a consistent, in specification product.

Daily Activities:

Daily Operations (70 %)

Perform raw material staging for batches.

Operate production vessels, including batch reactors and blenders

Use automated and manual process controls to adjust process parameters

Package finished products in drums and IBCs

Complete batch sheets, logbooks and other records neatly and accurately.

Sample batches and perform in-process Quality Control testing.

Perform other duties or training as required or requested.

Additional Duties and Functions (30 %)

Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by performing minor maintenance.

Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment and process issues.

Complete required safety training.

Qualifications:

Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal.

Good mechanical aptitude

Good troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support other departments.

Exhibit good judgement, dependability, initiative and a positive attitude.

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of chemical environment experience.

Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, or other hours as required.

Experience in forklift operation.

Ability to perform physical essentials (climb stairs and/or ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, wear FRC uniforms, wear full face respirator occasionally)
