PGS Worldwide is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Greenville, SC for a 1-year contract-to-hire role working a standard full-time schedule. This position supports a major aerospace & defense company and focuses on material movement, shipping/receiving support, and warehouse operations including picking and put-away. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, can work safely in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable with a highly physical role requiring extended standing and walking.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse material handler experience
• Experience loading/unloading and conveying materials within a plant, yard, or warehouse environment
• Ability to perform picking, put-away, shipping, and receiving support tasks as assigned
• Ability to use hand tools to open containers and safely handle materials
• Ability to count, weigh, and record material movement accurately
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and perform frequent standing/walking throughout the shift

Preferred Skills

• SAP experience (strong plus)
• Experience working with pallets, racks, trays, conveyors, and material staging systems
• Strong attention to detail for inventory counts, labeling, and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with safety practices in industrial or regulated warehouse environments

What You'll Do

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the facility using hand trucks or other approved devices
• Perform shipping/receiving support, including opening containers, verifying counts, and recording weights
• Pick and put away materials to designated storage locations and production staging areas
• Load/unload materials onto pallets, racks, trays, conveyors, machines, or trucks by hand as required
• Stack, stage, and assemble materials for storage, production use, or outbound shipment
• Record transactions and material movement information accurately using logs or system tools
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and material-handling procedures
• Support daily warehouse priorities under direct supervision and adapt to changing workload needs
