In house position only Youth Apprenticeship – Warehouse Associate Are you looking to gain real-world work experience while still in high school? Join our team as a Warehouse Associate Apprentice and learn valuable skills that can help launch your career! In this role, you'll work alongside experienced staff to help keep our warehouse, showroom, and property running smoothly. You'll get hands-on experience with inventory, order preparation, deliveries, and customer service while developing responsibility and teamwork skills. What You'll Learn / Skills Gained: • Introduction to the flooring industry. • How a warehouse operates day-to-day. • Safe handling of materials and equipment. • Time management and responsibility. • Teamwork and communication skills. • Customer service experience. • Basic computer and math skills are used in business. Work will be performed at one of our 13 Wisconsin locations: Eau Claire, Holmen/La Crosse, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield, Wausau, Minocqua, Rhinelander, Eagle River, Green Bay, Appleton, Germantown, Racine, or Kenosha Responsibilities: What You'll Do: • Follow instructions and complete daily tasks with guidance from your manager. • Learn how to prepare and organize customer orders, including measuring and cutting materials. • Assist with delivering products safely and carefully to customers and company locations. • Help keep materials neat and organized (straightening, labeling, and maintaining displays). • Support recycling and disposal efforts. • Assist with building and property care, such as: • Lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal. • General cleaning of the warehouse and showroom (sweeping, mopping, trash removal). Qualifications: • Must be enrolled in a Wisconsin youth apprenticeship or school-work program. • Must be able to be physically present Work Environment: • You'll work both indoors (warehouse/showroom) and outdoors (property care, occasional customer deliveries). Physical Expectations: • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely (training will be provided). • Some bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and moving materials. Compensation: $15 Hourly
