Location: Greenville, SC
Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Pay: $18.10/hour to start + $1/hour increase upon permanent hire
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Summary

The Production Painter is responsible for applying industrial paint finishes to metal products using spray equipment and other painting methods. This role ensures that painted components meet quality standards and production requirements while following all safety procedures. The position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

Areas of Responsibility

• Operate spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products
• Mix paints and other solutions accurately
• Monitor drying and curing processes to ensure proper results
• Perform finishing tasks such as baking, polishing, or other methods
• Paint items by hand when necessary
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Work Environment

• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and inclement weather
• Noise levels may be loud at times

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Continuous movement and use of arms and hands
• Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• Ability to perform physical tasks over extended periods without fatigue
