Overview

Morgan Corp. has an exciting opportunity for a Survey Intern to join our team this summer in Duncan, SC. This position is ideal for a Geomatics or Surveying student looking to gain real-world experience with one of the largest heavy civil construction firms in the Southeast.

What You'll Do

As a Survey Intern, you'll work closely with a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and other experienced survey professionals to gain hands-on exposure to the tools, methods, and challenges of surveying in the construction industry. You will:

• Assist in performing topographic surveys using GPS rovers, robotic total stations, and drones.
• Support and observe level and traverse loops to verify control locations and elevations.
• Perform or assist with construction as-built surveys for project closeout requirements.
• Gain exposure to drafting and construction as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams and survey managers to solve real-world field challenges.

• Currently enrolled in a Geomatics, Surveying, or Survey-Related Technology program.
