Pay Range: $51.40hr - $56.40hr

  • The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment implementation.
  • This role involves applying knowledge of Hot Gas Path (HGP) design and manufacturing to improve part functionality, reduce cost, and enhance overall value.
  • The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements, support design producibility, and implement lean manufacturing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Support hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment.
  • pply knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to enhance part functionality, reduce cost, and add value.
  • Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts.
  • Support design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering activities.
  • Engage proactively in quality initiatives for defect reduction and process improvement.
  • Support qualification guidelines, specifications, and address top manufacturing issues.
  • ssist in technology development and qualification of special processes such as castings, coatings, and hole drilling.
  • Foster teamwork, a positive work environment, and drive a sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering experience designing gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery, specifically hot gas path components.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, materials, and coatings.
  • Previous experience in non-conformance dispositioning using mechanical engineering assessments.
  • Familiarity with Ansys, NX, and other analytical tools.
  • Understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Should Have:
  • Gas turbine engineering experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control.
  • Background in HGP components, including NX and GD&T.
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
