Hold regular PMIs./liliComplies with DHEC, JCAHO, OSHA, City Inspectors and other inspections for the entire system and Hospital for Restorative Care./liliDevelopment and implementations of maintenance programs for all electrical and mechanical equipment./liliProper information is provided for the addition of new equipment into the PM Program./liliWorks with administration in evaluating planned work and methods for compliance to regulatory agencies./liliAssures all life safety items are properly tested and maintained per DHEC/Joint Commission/CMS standards (medical gases, sprinklers, etc.)./liliAssures that all P.M. tasks are completed correctly as scheduled in order to meet CMSs 95% completion rate. All PMs are turned in on time./liliAssures that all documents needed for DHEC and CMS surveys are properly maintained and up to date./liliAssures that all employees are meeting all safety guidelines and using proper personal protective equipment./liliAssures items identified on rounds are repaired ASAP and information is communicated to appropriate parties./liliProactive in job tracking to ensure projects come in on budget/or lower./liliSets goals and implements plans and ideas to help reduce operation expense./liliWorks with administration, architects and engineers to help value engineer projects for potential cost savings/liliControls supply budget through proper inventory control and tracking process./liliResponsible for ensuring patient and staff needs are met in terms of room temperature and air quality./liliResponsible for all aspects of Medical Gas System./liliResponsible for all aspects of the Energy Plant./liliResponsible for all equipment rooms, ensures the area is maintained and tidy./liliProvides a report of rounds performed in equipment rooms and ensures all equipment rooms are visited on a rotating basis./liliResponsible for plumbing and related tasks including and related tasks including indoor and outdoor fountains./liliOversees the shop mechanic on a daily basis./liliSupports departmental core function by providing for the comfort and safety of patients, staff, visitors and others entering our facility./liliSupports strategic initiatives related to improving Press Ganey scores./liliSupports departmental initiatives related to building team morale./li/ul/div
