Description:

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Customer Project Specialist supporting our Power Systems Business.

This position is accountable for managing large customer engineered?to?order projects in the Water/Wastewater Market Segment, ensuring the customer receives the best sales service possible while maximizing Schneider Electrics sales opportunities. The dollar value of customer projects can exceed millions of dollars, typically involving complex equipment and multi?year timelines. The role serves as the primary order?management contact for the customer, handling initiation, planning, execution, control, and closeout of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field Sales or higher?level project managers to validate the projects statement of work and contract terms.
  • Validate the project schedule for executing the customers order.
  • Update the project plan throughout the project life cycle and communicate progress and any changes to the customer.
  • Monitor the execution of the project, verifying the appropriate execution of the plan across manufacturing, field services, and engineering.
  • Control project performance through its lifecycle, including task completion verification, team monitoring, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration.
  • Lead the closeout activities, including financial reconciliation, verification of equipment arrival, installation, startup, and training support.

Skills & Capabilities
  • Product knowledge of medium and low?voltage electrical distribution and control equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Windows, MS Office 365, MS Excel, and MS Access.
  • Experience with Q2C, SE Advantage, Bridge Front Office, and other business systems.
  • Commitment to continuous technical product knowledge, project management, and customer service development.
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., Project Management Institute) is preferred.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Industry experience in Water/Wastewater, with product knowledge of medium and low?voltage systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and time?management aptitude.
  • Experience using Q2C, SE Advantage, Bridge Front Office, and related systems.
