As an Armed Patrol Officer at this aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact professionally with staff and visitors. This post requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential risks.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Operate as an armed security professional, following all applicable protocols and regulations for handling and carrying firearms.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergency situations by following established procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
