Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Duncan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned manufacturing and industrial locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a secure environment, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assisting with emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
