Position: Regional Sales Account Manager

The Regional Sales Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships while serving as the bridge between Sales and Operations to ensure exceptional TAB services. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs, resolve issues, and provide long-term solutions that drive satisfaction and retention. The position blends client-facing responsibilities with technical estimating, requiring strong communication skills and a solid understanding of HVAC or construction systems. Commercial HVAC sales experience is required to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients to ensure strong, ongoing relationships.
  • Maintain consistent communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide expert guidance on TAB Services to optimize system performance and comfort.
  • Manage existing accounts by offering updates, addressing concerns, and promoting additional services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Participate in proposal development and submission.
  • Document all client interactions and strategies in the CRM system.
  • Review project documents (blueprints, specifications, addendums) to understand scope and requirements.
  • Calculate material, labor, equipment, and other costs to develop accurate estimates.
  • Prepare and submit competitive, timely, and profitable bids and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and present proposals to clients.
  • Assess project risks and opportunities to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Recommend cost-effective alternatives that meet project and client requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to improve bid success rates.
  • Engage with clients post-bid to clarify requirements and provide follow-up.
  • Continuously improving the estimating processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline workflows.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to support bid closure and client engagement.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Commercial HVAC sales experience.
  • Prior experience in estimating within the construction, HVAC, or mechanical systems industries preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and estimating software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Basic understanding of air and water systems and balancing procedures.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • May occasionally require lifting or carrying 20 to 50 pounds.
  • Primarily office-based with extended periods of sitting.
  • Includes visits to job sites or client meetings as needed.
  • Must be able to use hands for handling tools or controls.
  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, and move throughout the workday.
