What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
+ Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by the site.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing duties.
Minimum Requirements:
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
