Key Responsibilities

• Establish a proactive and visible security presence throughout the assigned supply chain location to promote a safe environment at Lowe's.
• Regularly assess the physical security of the premises, including gates, doors, access control, and perimeter integrity, in accordance with company policies.
• Engage professionally with drivers, ensuring compliance with Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) during inbound and outbound processes.
• Conduct routine safety and security audits using mobile devices to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Patrol both the interior and exterior of the facility to identify and address potential security issues, utilizing both foot patrols and company vehicles.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage situations involving associates, visitors, and contractors effectively.
• Respond promptly to various incidents, including medical emergencies and fire alarms, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Work closely with Supply Chain leadership and team members to enforce security policies and procedures.
• Report any suspicious activities, safety risks, or security breaches to leadership immediately.
• Document incidents meticulously using a case management system, detailing involved parties and interventions taken.
• Monitor security via CCTV systems to detect unauthorized activities effectively.
• Participate in monthly Safety Team meetings to stay updated on safety policies and procedural changes.
• Maintain all necessary certifications and licenses required by Lowe's.
• Engage with local law enforcement and participate in court hearings as needed, ensuring case files are up-to-date.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience if applicable.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, security, first response, or military service.
• Minimum of 1 year in big-box retail or security roles.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Security License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, or related security field.
• 1 year of experience in writing detailed incident reports.
• 1 year of experience conducting quality reviews or audits.
• 1 year of experience with physical security systems like CCTV or EAS.
• First Aid Certification.
• Skills in de-escalation and crisis intervention.
