Key Responsibilities:
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices according to health and safety standards.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish floors, and clean windows.
Wash, dry, and replace linens; make beds; clean mattresses.
Sanitize wash basins, showers, bathtubs, toilets, and other fixtures.
Maintain cleanliness of upholstered furniture, carpets, draperies, and equipment.
Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and bathroom items.
Remove trash and transport waste to disposal areas.
Report maintenance needs promptly (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures, damaged furniture).
Practice proper safety and infection control procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred (senior living, healthcare, or hospitality a plus).
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Commitment to 12 hours of annual continuing education (provided by employer).
