Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices according to health and safety standards.

  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish floors, and clean windows.

  • Wash, dry, and replace linens; make beds; clean mattresses.

  • Sanitize wash basins, showers, bathtubs, toilets, and other fixtures.

  • Maintain cleanliness of upholstered furniture, carpets, draperies, and equipment.

  • Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and bathroom items.

  • Remove trash and transport waste to disposal areas.

  • Report maintenance needs promptly (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures, damaged furniture).

  • Practice proper safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred (senior living, healthcare, or hospitality a plus).

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

  • Commitment to 12 hours of annual continuing education (provided by employer).
