The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers' expectations.
Shift: Night Shift Premium Amount: $1.20 Pay Rate: $19.25
Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and to ensure the safety of coworkers.
Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached.
Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed.
Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there are changes to production orders and quality concerns.
Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properly on racks.
Must have the ability to trouble shoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and take appropriate corrective actions.
Must control quality by monitoring the racks for various visual quality defects such as edge creases, voids, gels, scratches and all other visual characteristics.
Must be able to ensure accurate label and weight of tubing. Properly identify material being produced on winders.
Perform all duties as directed by supervisor
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-3 years of experience
Requires basic reading, writing and math skills
Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred
Flexibility within a high-performance work environment
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
Able to work without close supervision
Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained
