Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions, the Admissions Counselor is responsible for promoting the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities in an assigned territory through presentations in schools and community organizations, as well as participation in festivals and conferences throughout the state. The Admissions Counselor assists the Assistant Director of Admissions with the management of assigned data and contacts in the application system. The Admissions Counselor will serve as the first line of communication between prospective students/families and the school. Schedule and attend schools in an assigned territory, along with community organizations, summer camps presentations.
