Cook on grill top to order, making sandwiches and salads to order. This position receives the order from the customer, prepares and cooks food according to instructions and performs fast and accurate cooking duties to serve the customer. Prepares special diet foods for patients on modified diets and patients with any nutritional or eating problems. Serve food attractively and fairly using portion control. Insure food temperatures are within the acceptable range throughout the serving time. Effectively utilizes left over food from previous meals and from patient carts, only using top quality. Return food items to their proper storage location, wrap, label and date. Complete all cleaning assignments as per monthly sanitation audit. Keeps up-to-date temperature records on foods. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required:High School Graduate or GED equivalent. At least one year cooking experience in a high volume setting.
