Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will take full ownership of multiple medium to large projects, leading day-to-day execution, project controls, financial performance, and client communications. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings deep expertise in complex building systems. Experience with design-build delivery, occupied renovations, and sophisticated MEP systems is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, and key stakeholders.
• Partner with the estimating team during bidding and preconstruction phases.
• Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, superintendents, and interns.
• Develop and grow emerging team members through training and hands-on guidance.
• Oversee full project life cycle: budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, closeout.
• Ensure project success by meeting or exceeding safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to document interpretation, conflicts, and errors.
• Maintain a detail-oriented, proactive approach while managing multiple simultaneous projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Ideally 15 years of commercial construction project management experience, ideally with projects ranging from $5M to $25M.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor 3–5 project managers or engineers.
• Expertise with complex building systems and design-build delivery.
• Proven track record managing projects from RFQ through final closeout.
• Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with web-based project management software (Procore preferred).
• Experience with project scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of construction.
