Description:

Greenville Country Club is seeking a Dining Room Captain to help lead our dining service team and uphold the thoughtful, personalized hospitality our members value. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, building relationships with members, andsetting the standard for service through example.

What This Role Looks Like

  • Leading front-of-house service during daily dining operations with a focus on member experience
  • Creating a welcoming, polished, and consistent service environment for members and guests
  • Coaching and supporting service staff to deliver attentive, personalized hospitality
  • Assisting with opening, closing, and overall readiness of dining spaces
  • Communicating closely with the culinary team and Food & Beverage leadership to ensure smooth service
  • Upholding all club, state, and local policies related to food and beverage service
  • Serving as Manager on Duty when assigned

Compensation
  • $22-$25 per hour, based on experience

What We're Looking For
  • 1-2 years of food and beverage experience; private club or fine dining experience preferred
  • Previous bartending experience required
  • A calm, confident leadership presence and strong service instincts
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in member relationships
  • Professional, dependable, and comfortable leading by example
  • Must be 21+ and able to obtain ServSafe certification
