Responsible for assembling electronic parts. In this role you will be required to read, interpret and follow instructions. Assemble parts and use tools to prep and fit electronic components. Great start to an electronics manufacturing career!
An Electronic Assembler is tasked to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products. Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
Use hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or similar hand tools.
Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets on PCB panels.
Prep parts prior to builds.
Tend to prepping machines, to fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment.
Adjust or trim materials from components.
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports.
Clean parts thoroughly.
Review work activities with supervisors.
Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
Pack finished products for shipment.
Tag and label components.
Correct defects.
Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices used in avionic systems, military systems, and medical equipment.
Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
Experience preferred (but not required): 1-3 years assembling small electronic/ microelectronic components/ parts.
Experience preferred (but not required): knowledge of electronic parts/ wire/ manufacturing

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
