Job Title: Phlebotomist

Must-Have:
- Prior Trauma Level 1 experience
- Recent travel experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC system

Description:
Shift is from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, every other weekend.
Candidates must have previous Trauma Level 1 experience.
Recent travel experience is required, and first-time travelers will not be considered.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with the EPIC system is needed.
BLS certification is required.
Phlebotomy certifications from accepted organizations are necessary.
Candidates should be proficient in hospital settings and post-venipuncture site care.
Responsibilities include processing specimens for the laboratory, including centrifuging, aliquoting, and storage.
Familiarity with syringe and Vacutainer methods is essential.
Experience with the EPIC Beaker system is preferred.
Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed.
Floating is expected based on patient census concerns.
All necessary competencies must be documented and demonstrated for floating to other areas.
Travelers must be located more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible.
Submissions are limited to individuals with the required experience and qualifications.
This position may involve working with a variety of patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
