This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced phlebotomist with prior Trauma Level 1 experience to provide quality care and support in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have recent travel experience and proficiency in the EPIC charting system.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and blood draw procedures.
• Process specimens for laboratory testing, including centrifugation and aliquoting.
• Provide post-venipuncture care and support to patients.
• Utilize EPIC Beaker LIS and Rover collection systems for accurate patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Trauma Level 1 environment.
• At least 1 year of EPIC experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification accepted from one of the following bodies: NPS, ASCP, AMT, ASPT, NHA, ACA, NCCT, NPCE, NPA, NAPT, NHCO.
• Must have formal training in phlebotomy or equivalent relevant experience.
