Pitt County Government's Public Information Office - 1717 W. 5th Street Greenville, NC 27834 is currently seeking a Social Media Coordinator Intern.
The Social Media Coordinator intern for the Public Information Office will support communication efforts by creating and scheduling content that is informative, accessible, and aligned with Pitt County messaging.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the development of social media posts based on official announcements, civic engagement opportunities and capturing photos or videos at public events.
* This role offers hands-on experience, interdepartmental collaboration and digital media strategy in compliance with ADA accessibility standards.
* The position reports to the Director of Public Information.
You are expected to work 15-20 hours per week.
