Job Type: Full-time Shift Hours: 4 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Thursday Salary Range: $22/hr to $27/hr

Job Description: We are seeking a self-driven, team-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a CNC Lathe Operator. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating multi-spindle bar-fed mill-turn CNC lathes to safely produce precision parts within specifications. The position requires maintaining high-quality standards and performing routine machine maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate multi-spindle CNC lathes using M & G codes.
  • Load existing programs or write/edit M & G codes to produce parts accurately.
  • Perform first article inspections and document dimensions to comply with ISO standards.
  • Ensure parts meet specifications using measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Conduct dry runs in single block mode to validate program accuracy.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including checking oils, lubricants, and coolant levels.
  • Run warm-up programs on machines when required and report any issues to the maintenance team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines with M & G codes.
  • Must have experience working with multi spindle machines
  • Ability to produce first article inspection parts and maintain ISO documentation.
  • Strong skills in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
  • Solid shop math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to teach and learn in a team environment.
