- The Phlebotomist II is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and delivering exceptional patient care.
- This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to create a trusting environment for patients.
- The position may support patient service centers, doctor s offices, or other locations as needed.
- Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
- Must meet all policies including dress code, health and safety.
- Good judgment and ability to follow established procedures.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver s license (if applicable).
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours to support multiple locations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Keyboard and data entry experience.
- 1 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center preferred.
- Customer service experience in retail or service environment highly preferred.
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.
- Verify patient demographics and confirm labeling accuracy.
- Maintain required documentation and records.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment while providing a positive patient experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
