Pay Range: $19.93hr - $22.17hr
  • The Phlebotomist II is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and delivering exceptional patient care.
  • This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to create a trusting environment for patients.
  • The position may support patient service centers, doctor s offices, or other locations as needed.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Must meet all policies including dress code, health and safety.
  • Good judgment and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver s license (if applicable).
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours to support multiple locations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Keyboard and data entry experience.
Experience:
  • 1 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environment highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.
  • Verify patient demographics and confirm labeling accuracy.
  • Maintain required documentation and records.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment while providing a positive patient experience.

Qualification And Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
